we always confirm our departure flight from Bali at the Garuda office and tell them where we are staying.Useful last year when they phoned early to say flight delayed.Unfortunately it was later delayed still further after we had arrived at airport.
Coming home last Sunday was ok when we go to airport then put up delayed 10mins.Was delayed for 1/2 hour.
Not much you can do about it.
