Hi Nat,
our daughter is 4 now but when she was younger we used to take everything with us nappies, tins/jars of baby food, formula, baby panadol etc...we would have 3 weeeks worth and it was never a problem taking it all into the country.
we used to take what we needed for the flight on to the plane with us and the rest was in our checked luggage.
you can get heinz jars of baby food in mataharri's etc but more expensive than at home...not sure on the formula.
if you take it all with you it gives you lots of room to put your purchases in for when you return home.
