* first to see our 'balinese son Arya' and his family
* to see Lily, Amy, Ayu, Cinta, and all the crew out front of Dynasty
* relax and get away from our business
* drink bintang its the only time I enjoy a cold beer
* shop shop and shop
What makes us keep going back -
Firstly Arya and his family, he has really become like a son to us and messages us at least 3 times a week, calls us mum and dad and just loves his aussie brothers. His family are like our family, I have so much love and respect for his parents and his little brothers and too cute!! We also have made many other friends and its always exciting to get back and see them all & try to help in some small way, like taking over clothes & this year I am taking over 200 teddy bears, cant wait to see the look on the little faces when they get one.
Shopping is up there too as its so much fun and like everyone says its not how much you pay or whether or not you were 'ripped off' its more like if you are happy with the price then pay it, really if they get a couple of dollars extra well good for them!!
The weather, just love those hot days sitting around the pool with a bintang or cocktail without a care in the world and getting a nice tan in the process.
The Balinese People!!! Love them
Most memorable experience was last year when we went to Arya's village for the night and had a party for about 100, it was awesome, I have never felt so in awe of a family before, their generosity and love shown to us all was amazing, we bought Arya's 9 year old brother a new push bike from Denpasar and gave it to him and we all cried cause he did he was so overwhelmed and happy. This family mean the world to us and we just love going back each year to see them all again...cheers Trace
