We are staying at the Kartika in September and have two children, we booked the family room a little more expensive but to have two rooms we thought it was worth it. Our youngest is three and it will be good to be able to put her to bed and not have to be quite as we have our own room with tv. The Kartika web site has a picture of the room which gives you the idea of how it is set out.
