Just returned from Bali 2 days ago. I asked our driver (same wonderful guy we have used for several bali trips over the last few years)about the Bali Hai Resort as I stayed there 3 years ago, he has a good friend who use to work there and said that it had been closed for about a year and at this stage there is no plan to re-open it. He said because it has been so long since the hotel has been in use that it is in very bad condition (mould, things not working etc).
