HI Grovey, I took my sons aged 2 1/2 and 10 months to Bali on my own some years ago. I made sure we had small toys, books on the plane and warned my eldest about all the Balinese statues at the airport and hotels (he was quite scared of unusual faces at that age). We went to the same restaurant every night, where they had a children's menu and colouring pencils etc. I also took my own food for the baby. The restaurant would then ring a taxi for me to take me back to the hotel. I stayed in a hotel with a private plunge pool, so while the boys were sleeping during the day I could relax. I took a stroller for my youngest for when we went shopping. I bought heaps of food supplies at Bintang Supermarket for snacks and convenience. We had an absolute ball and my eldest son who is now 8 still remembers parts of the trip. Enjoy!
