The first time I went to Bali with my children, they were aged 3 and 1. Have you been to Bali before? It would be quite a handful to have such young grandchildren there. My honest opinion would be....If you want to take them somewhere, why not just take them somewhere lovely here? They are not going to remember anything about Bali anyway!!! I only took my kids because I would miss them if I left them behind and I really wanted to go. I think it would be lovely if your grandkids were older but being so young I feel it is just a waste of money (and effort). You would be so restricted in where you can go and what you can do. Go by yourselves and have a great time...Take the kids somewhere when you get back. Or better still, as someone else mentioned, let the parents go and you's mind the kids here. They would have a lovely long earned break.And Bali is the perfect place to do that.
