I also ask the question why so young? Yes I love my grandkids ( expecting twins in June, that will be 8 boys) But ask yourself what will they (the grandkids) take home with them apart from the fact that they have been taken away from their MUM. The kids are not at an age to enjoy the experience and to retain memories worth valuing. Ask yourself how many nights have you had these grandkids at your place without them EVER asking for MUM.I think your ambitions are great but please discuss this with the parents and take into the equation the ages of the children.
