to have a look on the internet and then research the meanings before you buy. I have a couple of small statues, one is the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion, given to me by a friend and another is the Garuda wooden ornament that you see at the market stalls, mine was purchased late 80's on the volcano tour! Both these are wooden I also have a creamic outdoors statue that I was told was a Budi.....no idea if that is correct or of it's meaning. You see these in the Dynasty Hotel indoor gardens with lights in their insides.
