my pet hate too,never seen a spider in bali,maybe due to all the ghecko's.....but did get bit by a spider in bed one night (didnt see it,but felt a bite) turned into a very nasty sore,on arrival home went to doc's & he said "oh little black spider do that" so I had to have a tetanus (even though I'd had one a few years back) & a dose of anti's.......it was the nastiest sore,oozing mess I had ever seen, so now I go straight to shops & get a can of baygon & spray room every day & night, plus that helps with cane mites in the furniture too.
