I just had a look at your earlier posts as wasnt sure how old the kids are, you mention in one that your son is 16, how old is the other child? We stay at the villas and just love it, they are so roomy and you and hubby at least have some privacy!! We used to stay at the Dynasty and loved it there but as the kids get older its pretty hard all sharing the one room! Each year we go there is always a crowd of us so we always have friends staying at the dynasty so we still go over there and enjoy the pool and the activities, they dont mind as long as you are buying your lunch and drinks there. But it is so nice to go back to the villa for the peace and quiet and a large pool that you can lay around on your float and not be 'bombed' etc by heaps of kids heheh (not complaining thats what the dynasty is all about - families). We dont feel isolated at all, there are a few indonesian families living there and they are all lovely, so if you do chose the villa I am sure you will have a great time, remember its not that far away and if you do too much shopping, as we do, and really cant be bothered walking up the laneway to get back to the villa, grab a taxi, it will only cost you $1, by the way when do you go, we are staying there again this year from 6th August till 22nd Aug....cheers Trace
