No. My sister-in-law is in Brisbane. In Bali we were only in Kuta and Ubud. We did go near the monkey forest and to a dog shelter - but really dont know where she came in contact with a tick. was not aware of it. After return to brisbane she was VERY VERY sick. They considered malaria, dengue and a number of other conditions - and a viral infection - but she was getting worse and worse. Very grateful to the diligent GP who eventually checked for Spotted Fever. She certainly felt that she might die. OK now. And still keen to get back to Bali in a few months.
