I would recommend staying at the Puri Lumbung--I did and the accommodations are great in the little rice storage houses. So quaint. For 4 people they may give you a bigger place. Most of all, Ask for Putu who works there and will be your very best guide for any trek in the area--well worth doing!
And for a driver--definitely use Dewa Alit--the best, great english, knowledge,impeccable driving, etc. his number: 081 246 99691
I remember that Munduk is about 1 1/2 hrs from Ubud. It's really worth it--enjoy!
