sorry to hear that your husband and boys came down with Bali Belly, there's nothing worse than getting sick on holidays.
We have spent 8 weeks all up at Kuta Royal Complex in the past 6 months and never noticed mould and never heard of any reports from others staying there that they had caught Bali Belly from the pool.
While we were there we regularly saw the pool cleaner cleaning the pool and testing the water.
