Pearl Earings and Pearl Necklaces

I am looking to buy some pearl earings and a couple of necklaces. My search lead me to a guy that sells them around the Zanzibar Restaurant. Can anyone be more specific or is there a shop that also sells them at a similar price. Oh and quality tooooo. Any recommendtion from forumites that have made good purchases would be welcome. As I have not looked to buy pearls in the past, I cannot remember seeing many around. I am sure there are heaps. Thanks in Advance. Its a little late as we leave in the next few days for Bali.
