If you search on the forum for Garuda, I am sure you'll find heaps of feedback on its service as you will for Qantas, Jetstar, Ozjet and whatever planes go to Bali. If you want to compare prices, go to an online travel agent site like Best Flights or similar. I suggest zuji.com where I got a quote for October with Garuda for $788.49.
As for seats, I am flying Garuda for the first time in October so I hope I dont have to stand up for the trip
