My test is whether my knees are touching the back of the seat in front of me - BA and QF both touching actually pressing. Jet* about 6" in front of me - we are both tall so legroom is everything to us - I dont care what websites say it is what I experience!
Cant speak for Garuda regarding legroom as I have not flown with them for over 10 years and only repeated what the passenger next to me told me, mind you he said he would not go J* again due to the service as he could only get 6 beers.
I have nothing against Garuda and would gladly go with them but on each occasion we have saved by going J*.
