They KNEW that New Zuland was situated under that Long White Cloud, just over the pond. But in between inventing the new recipes & trying to fraternise with - or avoid the British Royal Marines & giving birth in sewage, they just KNEW that the ANZAC alliance would be formed & that the sons they bred could finally give the finger to those awful British officers in WW1. (BTW would it be TOO rude to claim that they invented Scotch FINGER biscuits, during these voyages?)
