Loving your JBR's! I had to tell you that when I first heard this song years ago, I thought Sting was saying, Fields of Bali, instead of Fields of Barley. I was so convinced that it was Bali that when my friend's Dad passed away they played that song at his funeral. They had been to Bali with us a few years earlier and the Dad had loved Bali so thought it was appropriate that this song was played. I refused to believe for quite along time that the song was not about Bali, but I still love hearing it anyways! Especially while in Bali.
