We found it hard to find restaurants in the area when we stayed there. We also often ate at Swell. We found we'd tend to go out to a restaurant for lunch (usually around Ulus) & then for dinner get take aways from the warungs across from Nimbrala Supermarket - there are 2 - one is mainly for daytime & the one beside it is for evening. Both are very cheap & the food is good - many locals eating there & getting takeaways - always a good sign. Get some kecap manis & chili sauce from the supermarket. The couple staying next to us didn't have their own transport & we frequently got nasi bunkis for them for a change from the food at the resort.
