Sounds like Dengue fever to me. My husband got it last August
and it took 4 blood tests and other tests till it finally showed up after nearly two weeks the only treatment was fluids, Guava juice and panadol for the fever. Most people end up in hospital till their white cell count comes up. Good luck.
