Hi we picked up all the brouchures when there last week (oops no 2 weeks ago now!!). The accommodation was still not opened but there were expecting to be ready within the next few weeks they told us by end of Jan. They were very eager to take us to the villas and show us thru but the kids wouldnt have it, they wanted to see more animals and get to the water playground.
However you pass them on the tour and their is quite a few. They have a brick / stone type fence about them but they are directly facing into the main animal enclosure where there are lions, Rhino's and zebras, cattle etc.
They separate them into different names as follows:
Kifaru family room (2 BRM) $us 280
Tembo Family room (3 BRM) $US350
Twiga Suites (town house) $US220
Tandala Suites (Tree house) $US20
Swala deluxe (ground town house) $US 150
It says there are 50 A/C rooms and it has a list of what is in them so you can email me if you want more info.
It is called the Mara River Safari Lodge.
their website is that with a dot com at end and that will give you lots of details I am sure.
It doesnt say that the entrance fee is included but I imagine it is as it says that breakfast is included and airport pickup for US$3.
I imagine this message will be deleted soon as i think it is seen as advertising, but I am not really. Just passing on info on a toursit place that is a worth your money and time to go to and i am stating what info I collected. No different than telling you the cost of 'fly fishing/sailing really !!
I will definately stay there but wait til 2009 when all the marine side of the park opens and it will really be a 2 day experience by then.
