Have styed at Playgrounds on 3 occaisions most recently about 3 weeks ago.
I really like playgrounds for its location,fantastic veiws,friendly staff(Janu the Manager is a gem)and the rooms are clean,spacious and comfortable and nicw pool with a view.
Each time we have stayed upstairs so have the lovely views and spacious verandah with daybed. Upstairs is fan cooled and we have found that good with no need for aircon.
The bathroom is basic with just coldwater but personally have not had a problem with that.Brekkey and snacks and drinks are available with a fridge to keep BYO in as well.
You have a selection of restaurants around Playgrounds and also the new Batu Karang resort and spa is 2 doors up.
Personally recommend Playgrounds and is value for money.
