Unfortunatly Sanur is about 40/45 minutes travel from Tanjung Benoa.It looks close but you have to go a long way around by road.
It is actually quicker to travel from Kuta to Sanur than from Tanjung.Maybe about 30 minutes.
No need to go to Sanur for water sports.Heaps on the beach at Tanjung.Get yourself a chair beachside of your hotel and settle down in the morning watching all the activity.By 1pm the tide is out and all water sports cease for the day.
