I've been staying there for years. You can't go wrong there. Clean, nice rooms, generous in size, nice bathrooms, fridge, Sat. TV, frigid AC. There's also two pools, a decent restaurant, a lobby bar, great, friendly, honest and helpful staff.
The Grand Kumala has always been frequented mainly by business travelers to Bali with a smattering of the usual tourist types. It's usually very quiet as most everyone is there to do business and is out during the day and resting at night. A very convenient location about 40 meters from the beach. Highly recommended.
