All my problems were not just with Harry but also with his providers/suppliers of the items, also we was told all our stuff arrived in Sydney but his man delivered to our home and not all arrived. No one ever wants to pick up the problems. Items were chipped/cracked/patched/not protected and scratched in cargo and so on. Extremely disappointed, it was very stressful. We had only 1 good experience out of 6. My advice to all is check and double check the items take photos of everything, list everything that goes in the containers even inside each box, take photos of everything, make sure all is at the warehouse and packed and protected well. Also make sure you use carefully all spaces and gaps with useful things to bring home not shredded paper. Only the other day i was painting a statue and noticed a crack when i touched it the whole thing fell off. Another statue when it was opened in the create carefully and lifted the whole head came off and rolled away, we had stuff not arrive but was on our cargo bill, yes already paid for as you pay for the cargo just before it arrives in Sydney we had to wait 12-18 months for some of these items to be replaced to be different to what we ordered even with a photo(I ordered 2 X matching pairs of statues, only 1 arrived of each we produced a photo and the other was different) Our fountain was chipped badly and when it was replaced it wasn't a ying yang pair, most of the things we let go as I was told I am the one creating the problems, sad but true. I paid quickly, maybe to quickly I paid in full the same day I received all my bills, I have heard from people that refuse to pay until they go to the warehouse and see all their stuff (Good choice) I never complained I took photos and always showed pictures of the problems as back up, sent copies of my receipts and a photo of all that arrived, to show how many crates arrived. I told the person who delivered that stuff was missing. We had stuff spread over many containers, another way of getting more money, another way to confuse you (especially when you buy a lot) Now he charges for the stuff to be put on a pallet even when you ask him not to do this, another scam for more money, reason being it is easier to load it on and off the container, easier for him and more costs for you.
He will tell you all the problems are his he will look after everything, well don't believe it. I am not the only one who has had problems, I know of a few people who can also speak of their problems and they would not go with him again, 1 person I have got to know got her table and 1 chair she was suppose to get 4 chairs she had to go back to Bali to argue for her others and when they arrived full of termites and refused to help her further.
I guess there is no one else, he has the monopoly on cargo for Bali to Sydney. Would I use him again, yes but i would do it all differently, use other suppliers not Harry's that he highly recommend and then won't stand by the suppliers. Definitely not Mr wadana his concrete friend for concrete as I have a step and hut post holders and other statues crumbling away in my back yard to prove that his work is crap. My family is saying no way no more.
Harry himself will tell you he gets no commission, well this is not true as he asked us to get a taxi to the 1st place and meet him, wow what an argument he and the taxi driver go into in front of us and the shop people, my friend said what is the problem as we didn't understand indo. We was told the taxi driver wanted Harry's commission. So lies told and were proven. This is Bali where everyone works on commission. I saw him rip off my friend, I was shocked.
Please don't jump at my comments. This is my experience and it really happened, I am sharing only so others can learn from my experiences. Please be careful. Use him, just please be careful. Keep your eyes wide open.
I have heard Harry does it all from both ends so hopefully all is better now.
