i just returned from bali via jetstar.. and basically you get what you pay for.. if you want to travel with a budget airline you shouuldn't compare it to full price flights.. my boyfriend and i pre-ordered our meals, which were served an hour into the flight but were very tasty. your provided with headphones, with numerous radio stations on offer, as well as 2 tv shows and a movie.
our flight there was no hassles, the staff were friendly and there was a buzz of excitement in the air. the flight home on the other hand.. we were 30 mins away from melb when they decided that the unexpected fog in melb was to thick to land, so we had to turn around and fly to adelaide.. the staff were extremely helpful and provided us with free drinks.
budget or full price.. these delays could happen to anyone.

yes there are strict baggage conditions. $15 per kilo.. but if everyone was aloud through the plane would not even leave the ground.

basically the flights leave at night so you can eat before you fly anyway..

fly jet star and use the money you are saving on a dozen drinks!!
