Well sorry to have to say that the driver we booked WAS Wayan Adiarsa and whilst he is a lovely man his english was no better than others we met during our stay. I was disappointed that he didnt tell me he couldnt come to airport and his van was just not big enough for 7 largish butts. i like to be informed.
In the end we used a guy called "Jacky" most trips who had 2 vans available, one was a bigger 11 seater so was much more comfy. He had good english but only young, 25yrs old and about to be married next month. We felt he fitted in with the ages of the teens well and was always willing to join in and help out and take photos for me where i couldnt. Now i know that there are better and many have an esky/icebox and supply cold drinks etc whcih would have been nice but we didnt get that service from anyone. I think they are still struggling to get work as it was still relatively quiet on the streets and in the shops.

For some reason he doesnt do so well but the van is excellent and his driving & english was good.
Good luck choosing someone, the forum recommends would have to be a 1st choice and have some no's for a backup.
