in the last three years. My parents have stayed at Segara every year for about the past twenty years. They have finished refurbishing the rooms around the smaller pool and they look very upmarket. Some of the other rooms are being refurbished at the moment. They are also in the middle of rebuilding the restaurant on the beachfront. It will be on the same level as the pathway along the beach instead of being upstairs. There will also be a third pool next to the restaurant. There is also a separate swim up pool bar. The grounds are quite open, lots of grassy areas, but nice gardens as well. We have always found the staff to be very friendly. Lots of nice restaurants nearby along the beach - Tootsies (great for breakfast), Seven Seas (one of the best Black Rice Puddings) and Spirit Cafe (wonderful salads and burgers and great coffee - lovely to finish the night here with a coffee after enjoying dinner elsewhere). The Seven Seas and Spirit Cafe are in a little grassy plaza next to Segara on the beachfront with a few other shops - paintings, gift shops, beauty parlour. We will be there again in Sept/Oct this year.
