Hi Aly, yes we were concerned and had the last 24hours prior to departure sitting in Drs waiting rooms which is why i was so disorganised with my packing. After ultrasounds and two Dr's it appears he has 3 kidneys with some abnormalities evident and they think he passed a kidney stone which accounted for the blood. At any rate they all said we could travel the next day as long as he was no longer bleeding and not in pain because any referral to a specialist was going to take at least a 4 week wait at this time of the year so we were advised to go to Bali & keep him on antibiotics the whole trip and to high tail it home if any problems. Which there wasnt thank goodness and believe it or not he was the only one out of 7 of us that didnt get an upset stomach or runny poo's as my 10 yr old calls em!! We are still waiting for the renal review.
