Hi, stayed at UVH for 3n in May and had no complaints with the hotel. Great location. Afternoon tea is very basic, just a couple of cakes (to be honest, when we were there it was pretty bland and unappealing) but it is free so no complaints but just not overly exciting. Much preferred to go to Indus or one of the other cafes for a snack.
Breakfast is reasonably basic but perfectly acceptable. Fruit, cereal, toast, some hot foods - really a small buffet with a few selections. I think they would cook you eggs or an omlette too. Obviously not as much as some of the bigger hotels as UVH is smaller but unless you're very fussy I think you would find something to your liking.
As I said, we had no complaints with the food. Enjoyed the hotel. Heaps of good restaurants nearby. Hope you enjoy your trip!
