Deb for the past 2 years I have used Mr Ansor from Brisbane Tailors because I lost contact with Komang from House of Komang.
Both are good tailors - Mr Ansor would come to the hotel room so it was more comfortable in the air conditioned room. Last year I had 30 plus pieces made and he was very undecisive aboutcosts and wouldn't give me an understandable breakdown of items. I do believe he got a little greedy with his pricing and I was disappointed as I had given him lots to make for me. Some similar/exact items were obviously made by different people as some were much better finished and fitting than others
This trip ( April) I am going back to House Of Komang which is in Jln Padma just up from Mandira. I am also going to ask Komang if she will come to the hotel for fittings.
Her shop is (walking toward Jln Legian) just past Garlic Lane on your right.
