Many people go to Bali for long stretches. I know after 3 -4 weeks a good baked dinner goes down well for a change.
If people want to eat like at home that's their prerogative not yours. Some people eat in the same restaurant every night because it feels comfortable. That's their choice. Our first time there we didn't venture to many restaurants but now I eat at many places and it';s one of the things I love about Bali. I eat where, what and when I like. Thanks for you concern.
Now I've learned to make Nasi Goreng I've been having it nearly everyday. I guess I should be having BBQ's seeing that I live in Sydney. Sorry to disappoint you. I must be boring (according to your criteria).
