the hotels systems. It makes the hotels look bad but isn't them. Happened to us and several friends who satyed at Horizon hotels in Phuket. Had banks cancel several card and they said straight up they knew where we were staying cos hackers had got that hotel chain.
Secret is don't give card to hotels at all. Been 3 time last 12 months and neither hotel has even asked for card as security. If they enter number into computer it can be taken!!
