we stayed at the baleka xmas 05 and 06 with our then 7-8 yo it is a small family run hotel that needed work (toilets backing up, shower not draining etc, badly needs some paint and the bedding and linen need burning (son had bed bugs)this xmas we stayed at bali garden (fantastic) and went for a drive to see staff friends at baleka, while we were there we got talking to some guests who showed us through their room and told us that pretty much the same things still occur. its such a shame, we love the location and the staff are brilliant, it just needs some tlc. we are returning on feb 14 and are trying the puri raja. hope all goes well for you, enjoy the beautiful paradise
