What a great opportunity for your first time in Bali. We, too, travel with our children and we are just mindful not to move them constantly. We allow three days as a minimum stay anywhere; to get a bit of a feel for the place.
What about travelling over to Lombok for a few days. Totally different experience with transport by pony and cart and not by car.
