Yes I agree there are two sides to every story.
I'm not against anybody in the pool (or any other public area) if their behaviour is appropriate. On my visit several years ago there was some unacceptable behaviour by young men with an Indonesian girl. Was she their girlfriend? I don't know.
Foreigners often get labelled. Eg an Australian who is married to a Balinese will get strange looks from people when he takes his children out. People assume his a pedophile.
Look beyond the gutter people. Think the best, not the worst.
