my family being two adults and four children have visited bali a few times and have always enjoyed it and felt safe, we prefer to stay in the legian area maily because it isnt so busy outside the hotel and its close to most thing children (and adults)like to do, i would highly recomend a day at the water bom park a great day out for all, the kids get worn out and sleep like babys at night. the white water rafting is good and not too dangerous the rapids are pretty tame and all saftey gear provided, its a good time to bond with your children if like me holiday time is the only real itme you get to spend uninterupted time with your family (incl wife of course)enjoy the islands hospitality and kick back and relax.
