We stay there quite regularly, and have booked again to stay in August. The rooms are very comfortable, my wife loves the breakfast that is included, and like you, we like to stay away from the more hectic area around Kuta, plus it is right on the beach.
The only downfall are the people who hog the sun lounges, you know the ones, they place a book and a towel on a sun lounge and dont appear for hours, but it proberly happens eveywhere.
