The Padma is gorgeous. I stayed at Mandira last trip in August and i thought it was okay - then i went for a walk around the Padma and checked out the rooms and club lounge and thought it was beautiful and am staying there later this year.
Really depends what you are after !!! for a bit of luxury i recommend Padma.
