I understood that Galungan is the beginning of the 210-day Balinese year, and celebrated as such.
A strange thing happened on my computer on Hari Galungan (Wednesday) -
On my desk top I have a picture of me and my grandson with my two adopted Balinese sons which taken on the steps of "our" bungalow last Galungan. On Wednesday, this Galungan, a ball of light appeared above the head of one of my "sons". It definitely wasn't there before, and isn't on the original photograph! It is probably something technical, but it has me thinking. Any ideas?
