by clearly write what the driver drank before the return drive if you are so sensitive. I do not give a damn about what the passengers drank.
I do have a real life and that life is very precious to me. That is why I am against mixing drinking of alcohol and driving, anywhere and always. In that I am not pretending anything. I do not care if a driver drinks or not, as long as he is not affected when he or she drives me. Perhaps you do not know but alcohol stays longer in the blood that one may think. That is why drivers get caught driving "the day after" thinking and feeling sober. But, again, each to their own. Hopefully the police will catch you at home one day when you had a few too many the night before, and when there is no Made to drive you around when your driver's license is taken.
If "my" driver rips me off he will have a serious problem. There are authorities, even in Bali strange as it may sound. Some are quite efficient. Driving tourists without a proper license is an offence and I do not mind reporting an offender. Same goes as to taxis - rip me off and better look for another job. Fortunately I do have a few reliable, good drivers when in Bali who know where I want to go, where they are going and who do not rip me off - and drive sober.
Bali - although a good and interesting destination - needs a better reputation as a tourist destination than just being a place where anything goes due to some tourists always feeling "sorry" for the locals. A life lost is a life wasted be it on the roads or elsewhere when alcohol is involved.
