The ribs at Naughty Nuri's in Ubud are pretty good.
The restaurant is owned by an American married to a Balinese. The ribs are cooked in front of you on a BBQ at the front of the warung.
I was there last week and I met this other expat who was there having a martini. A New Yorker who had been living there for 9 years. His name is Roy and he is married to a Balinese too. A very friendly man that understands Bali. He says you can find him there on Thursdays and just loves a chat.
