what did you get from your Bali experiences?
I will treat your question as genuine and respond that after eight times to Bali...What happned?
I don't want to respond in a condescending way, BUT you would have learned a thing or two of your own but fair enough maybe you were confined to your room :-)
You state you're in the higher end of the budget range but has really nothing to do with getting the feel of Bali. Depending on your idea of satisfaction from a holiday I would suggest walk through a village, talk to the locals, ask questions about their culture, it does cost a lot but is of so much 'value' donate to an orphanage, take recyclable bags over, foster a child.
If you want to spend up big eat at "Up market" Restaurants every night out or in the Hotels, pesonally, you may as well be anywhere in the world.
If you want to impress or spend your money, then you could play golf at Nusa Dua.
Hopefully you will come back this time with warm and fuzzy feelings from the suggestions above.
