Wharfie, we have obviously had very different experiences to you when flying with Garuda! We've flown 4 times with them to Bali with no complaints whatsoever. I'd give my right arm for them to fly direct out of Brisbane again (aahhh ... the good old days!). Even if I did find them "appalling" as you did, it still beats flying half way around the world on connecting flights to eventually get to your destination!
