The last thing she needs is to have stress before heading off on a lovely holiday with her best friend, which you obvioulsy are by enabling her to go. There is nothing wrong with the Formula 1 hotels at the airports. You could pick her up at the hotel on the way to the airport, then she doesn't have to look for you at the airport to check in.
