This posting was meant to be informative, for the benefit of the people who appeciate it. My comments going back to 1998 can easily be accessed and appreciated for their mostly rosy view of Indonesia.

Garuda have previously been notable for their courtesy and sweet smiling service. The trips I mentioned had all the charm of a slow train to Widgiemooltha.
Plonker? Certainly a lover of thr grape but it might mean something else in the insulting mind of the poster.
Surprised Filo would not add a constructive comment, only "whinging" subjectively about the lack of Flights to S.A. We used to be such good friends both on here and in Bali, never mind he called me a pig!
To new (to me) correspondent Sevebevo, may I jsut mention "sticks & Stones...." whilst advising him to indulge immediately in self-taxidermy,if his hands are not elswhere employed upon his body.
