Just back from 3 weeks of combined business and work and sucessfully survivied ,flew and would recommend AirAsia out of Coolangatta. Plenty to tell and share but thought I would start with two experinces that still make me giggle.
Firstly My Baby Dog Face Episode.... I arrived to brekky one morning at a fairly popular smaller hotel frequented by aussie,s in Jl Padma and was greated by the breakfast waitress with Good Morning and then she came over and told me "you have a very beautiful face".. what a charming way to start the day I thought. Then latter she comes to me and says what I thought was "you have a face like a DOG!" Oh my god I thought as I didnt know whether to laught or cry...Hmm dog face gee I didnt scrub up as well as I thought I had for 45 yrs old.The tropics really do take their toll!. Then she walks over to me a bit later and says "you have face like a beautiful baby DOLL... as she demonstrates by rocking her arms. Thank God! I am not a Dog Face I a am a doll and can leave the hotel without the paper bag or collar!
I still nearly convulse with laughter when I think of having being told I have a face like a dog!
2nd experience was when I took my Baby Doll face for a bit of waxing.... I may have the face of youth according to some but I do have the hormones of a 45 yr old so wanted by week 3 to get a bit of facial waxing! So thought ok and lets try a fairly frequented salon in Jl 66 who advertise "yes we do waxing".Perhaps I should have tried a more resilient area of the body before I jumped in face and all! Lets just say I left with a face like Poo Bear after being in the honey pot( sticky) and with a little bit of blood here and there and the facial abrasions that have now nearly healed!Not to mention the biggest tongue depressor was used to apply the wax! The administor of wax could have stood outside the door and applied it to me the spatula was so long.Many a women would havwe said dont come near me with that size of thing!
So through experince will definately leave the brazillains and G String waxes to the comfort and familiar services of home!
