these days no. but if you ring (may be to late now) you could REQUEST seating which is an advantage (ie window). I would advise checking before you leave home that the flight is not delayed out. Garuda are notorious for delays due to late inbound planes - depending on your city of origin, like Perth, if we have fog, the pilots have a right to refuse landing...and i mean a little mist!!!!
