The cafe outside the Bintang serves espresso coffee but I have not tried it. The place is always very busy and lots seems to order coffee. I am usually a very fussy coffee drinker but for some reason I went right off it whilst in Bali.
There is a warung a bit further down past the Bintang on the opposite side of the road that serves Illy coffee which in Australia is always a draw card for me when choosing a place to purchase a good brew. The Illy sign is visible from the street.
We stayed close to the Aston Villas and I cannot recall a Starbucks close by.
